My friend and I are very interested in joining the program however, my friend have no educational background on Japanese culture or any of the things stated under the said category except for the things that she reads and watches on anime BUT she is very interested in learning more about the country and its culture while I on the other hand have very little background and only been taught how to speak Japanese but I, as of my friend, is still very eager to learn the culture of the country...

From the age requirements stated, it seems that 31-34 age bracket is disqualified from applying for any of the programs. Is there a possibility for anyone from this age bracket to apply? Thanks

It says here that we have to be available for the pre-briefing session on Dec 1. But what if we are taking the Japanese Language Profiency Test (JLPT) on the same day? Can we still apply?

Dear JLPTaker,

You will just have to decide which is more important to you. The conditions of the program are irrevocable.

i guess no one from nyc is monitoring this thread. i agree that they should have taken the time to inform participants whether they made it or not. the trip is on dec 2, so people don't know yet if they should prepare or they should stop expecting.

Guys..Binasa ko yung mga comment sa Jenesys na Conference..They already got confirmations na accepted sila..Eh mas mauuna pa tong trip na to sa CUltural. SInce this will be on December 2, and that would be on Dec. 7.. SO maybe they already sent confirmations to those who were accepted but not to those who werent chosen..To confirm You can call NyC,.. at (02) 416-2833
