you should have posted a clear qualifications before. if you're gonna choose students who are enrolled in the said programs, you shouldn't have been looking for die-hard japanese fanatics or whatever. it breaks my heart.

"Can communicate in Japanese and English"
Do you really require your delegates NOW to be fluent in Japanese?

# jane 2014-03-19 23:26
It states that "Can communicate in japanese and english" I believe it did not mention anything about being fluent, you can communicate in Japanese even just by using simple phrases they're all over the internet.
and if you do have a strong interest in the Japanese Culture this should not be alarming.

Hi! I would like to apply for this program, but one of the requirements is having a Philippine passport. I am of dual-citizenship (Fil-Am) and thus have an American passport. I do, however, have a identification certificate to confirm my Filipino citizenship. With that, can I still apply? :(

I already have a passport before, but as of now, it is expired. Nevertheless, I plan to renew it so as to apply for this program. Is there a certain deadline of which I must have renewed my passport before that day?
